Lindsay Lohan Hurt By Gwyneth, Says Dina

Lindsay Lohan is deeply hurt by Gwyneth Paltrow mocking her on national TV, Dina Lohan told Radar Online in an exclusive new interview.

Paltrow recently appeared on Glee and played a Spanish teacher who taught a lesson that included asking the class: "Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?" And, she then quizzed the class in Spanish, "How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?"

Lindsay was watching the hit Fox show while in the Betty Ford Center and was devastated.

"Lindsay is so upset with Gwyneth," Dina Lohan told Radar Online.

"Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford, then she called me and was upset and said, 'Why did she have to do that?'"

According to Dina, Lindsay thought the two movie actresses were friends and was shocked by the cruel jokes she made about her during a very difficult time in life.

"We are the first to make fun of ourselves in our family," explained Dina.

"And Lindsay has even done SNL a few times, but Gwyneth went overboard and it was unecessary."

"Lindsay thought she was a friend and it was disappointing," Dina told Radar Online.

"It was really hard for her to watch... it was hurtful not funny."

The Gossip Girl actress, who appears alongside Gwyneth Paltrow in her latest film, Country Strong, seems to have developed a slight girl crush on the older actress-turned-country singer. “She’s gorgeous without any makeup on and she comes to set at 5 a.m. looking really hot which is really great,” Leighton tells InStyle of Gwyneth’s off-screen appeal. “She’s super down-to-earth and makes dirty jokes. She’s just a cool chick.”

And that’s not the only on-set secret that Leighton dished on. The stylish star, who gets back to her Texas roots as a beauty queen-turned-singer in Country Strong, plays a neurotic college girl in The Roommate, and gets to slink into some of fashion’s most coveted labels as Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, reveals that the mean girl roles get the best outfits. “In The Roommate, I play a little over-the-edge bad girl and she has a pretty good wardrobe,” she tells the publication.

Leighton Meester Talks About Her Singing Career

She was featured on last year’s hit pop song “Good Girls Go Bad” and even contributed a tune to the new Country Strong soundtrack, but Leighton Meester will soon shine on her own with a long-awaited debut album. 

The actress, who stars as an aspiring country singer in her upcoming film alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, is actively working on her music career. “I’m still writing, and I’m working with a band. I’m going to start performing again soon,” she tells In Touch. 

What can we expect from the Gossip Girl star’s record, which was initially expected to be released this year? “It’s a different sound, because I’ve been going through a lot this year,” Leighton, who recently split from longtime boyfriend Sebastian Stan, adds. “I’m in no rush. I want it to be perfect!”

Leighton Meester Loves Gwyneth Paltrow Jokes

Who knew Gwyneth Paltrow could be so raunchy?

When Us Magazine caught up with her Country Strong costar Leighton Meester at IFP's 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in NYC Monday, the actress said Paltrow didn't pull any punches while filming in Nashville.

"She is full of surprises. As an actress, she is so giving and talented," Meester, 24, said. "She's super down-to-earth and she makes dirty jokes. She's just a cool chick."

The Gossip Girl star even admitted to feeling a bit starstruck when she first met the Oscar winner, 38.

"She's gorgeous without any makeup on!" Meester told Us. "She came to set at 5:00 a.m. looking really hot."

After recording a song for the movie's soundtrack, the actress told Us she's anticipating the release of her own album, scheduled for release in 2011.

"I'm still writing and I'm working with a band. I'm going to start performing again soon," Meester said. "It's kind of a different sound, because I've been going through a lot this year and I'm in no rush. I want it to be perfect."
