Once again, Melissa Odabash delivers with a collection of sophisticated classics. Nothing overly, "trendizoid," here, just great swimsuits and fabulous cover-ups that will go the distance, which is certainly good in this crazy economy. You can rest assured that if you put out some serious change for a beautiful, designer swimsuit by Miss Odabash, you won't be passing it on to the thrift store next season, or even the next. The quality and the look of Melissa Odabash Swimwear has lasting power.
So, what's my favorite MO bikini this year? I would have to say, the "Evita Bikini," a bandeau done in a precious turquoise blue.
My favorite Melissa cover-up? Definitely the black fringed, "Sandy" poncho. I love anything that looks Spanish, or Portuguese.
Melissa also did a few other perennials, such as her classic animal print, which has been fashioned into a sexy boy short bikini and her Indian inspired cover-up designs.
We just got the news that the 2011 Melissa Odabash Swimwear and Cover-Ups will be arriving from across the pond any day, so if you've been waiting for their arrival, please email us, or stop by our online store for updates.

Mikoh Swimwear 2011 - Clean Lines, Inspiring Design Define the Mikoh Look
There's been a lot of buzz about Mikoh Swimwear, a new swimsuit line from California that debuted last year. I previewed it in 2010 and loved it, but because it was near the end of the season, I held off carrying it until the 2011 line was ready. And now it is. Oh happy day!
Personally, I think that the new 2011 Mikoh swimsuits are even better than the 2010. They have included some prints this year and kept some of their most popular style details from last season, including their long, swingy strings and simple pull-on, (as in sans clasp,) tops.
They've also added some very cute and breezy beach cover-ups to their reportoire. Their styling is definitely for the smaller figure, but that being said, Mikoh Swimwear certainly makes the most of a tiny package.

Melissa Odabash Swimwear 2010 - Class & Fun Rolled Into One
Melissa Odabash Swimwear is another one of those classic swimsuit lines that always looks timeless and tasteful, yet still has a touch of fun flirtiness about it. Miss Odabash started her own swimwear line after modeling swimsuits in Italy that were not exactly to her liking. She created her own bathing suits, took them to the shops of Milan and they immediately caught on. She later opened her own store in London where she sells a variety of her beachwear styles and accessories.
Her look is simple and refined and in a word, “refreshing.” The quality of an MO swimsuit is impeccable, employing only the best of fabrics and trims. All of her patterns and designs have comfort in mind. Melissa Odabash exclusively uses a special twisted elastic support that is sewn into her bra tops, Instead of the more traditional under-wires that most other manufacturers use.
This year the look for MO is cool and calm. The Luxor Bikini is a simple, black bandeau that is spiced up with a thick, chunky chain detail. The Sienna One Piece Swimsuit is polished and clean, with graceful lines and a design sense that will get you through more than one summer. Of course, that’s what Melissa Odabash Swimwear is all about…enduring elegance.
