Passinga director Samuthirakani was debut in malayalam with mega star Mohanlal in Shikar.Now his second Malayalam film titled Veendum Kannur, a sequel to Manoj K. Jayan-Vani Viswanath starrer Kannur, released in the 90s. The movie is directed by Haridas Keshavan.
Young acor actor Bala will play the lead role and popular siner Aishwarya Muraleedharan is the heroine.The movie, scripted by Robin Thirumala, who scripted the original, is produced by Nasser Thirur under the banner of Caipon Entertainment.
